This breakthrough, built upon the USB Power Delivery 3.2 standard, delivers our fastest and most efficient charging system ever. The new system enables the iPhone 17 Pro to charge up to 50% in just minutes. A custom-designed battery and advanced thermal management ensure this high-speed charging maintains the battery's long-term health. The Advanced AVS System The iPhone 17 Pro leverages the Adjustable Voltage Supply (AVS) specification within USB PD 3.2. This allows the device to dynamically communicate with a compatible charger, instructing it to adjust its output voltage in precise 100mV increments within a 15V to 48V range. This real-time optimization ensures that power is delivered at the most efficient and effective voltage possible, resulting in:
